RECORDED SATURDAY: Orcas Women’s Coalition County Council Candidates Forum
SanJuans.Today (formerly known as CNL2) live streamed an election forum from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. yesterday from the Emmanuel Episcopal Church Parish Hall in Eastsound on Orcas Island.
San Juan County Council candidates Rick Hughes and Justin Paulsen, the two candidates for residency district 2, faced off in front of more than two dozen citizens.
In June, CNL2 live-streamed a six-candidate pre-primary forum held at American Legion Post 163, organized by center-right organizers. Some observers anticipate that today’s forum may be relatively center-left in discussion topics.
