The May 5th Spring Thespian Showcase at Brickworks was a big success. Many chairs for the audience were set in advance, but as the show continued more and more chairs were needed. By the end, the size of the audience had doubled.

Twenty songs and readings were performed by the high school theatre club that’s also known as “Troupe #8244.” The “Junior Thespians” and drama teacher Lindsey Saarie also performed.

As for the bake sale, someone has a really, really good carrot cake sandwich recipe.

The May event was a fundraiser, including a bake sale, focused on attending a national event in June in Bloomington, Indiana.
