BREAKING NEWS: Public Hearing Examiner Meeting for OPALCO Bailer Hill Microgrid Postponed

San Juan County’s Department of Community Development (DCD) has announced it is postponing the public hearing examiner meeting for OPALCO’s Bailer Hill micro-grid and battery installation project while waiting for all additional information requested of the applicant on March 28, 2024. The future hearing examiner meeting date is to be determined. It had been scheduled for April 24, 2024, when verbal testimony was to be heard.

The public hearing examiner meeting has not yet been rescheduled. In the meantime, written public comments will continue to be accepted.
