Last week, San Juan County Council Rep (Dist. 3) and current Chair Jane B. Fuller sat down for an interview with SanJuans.Today, covering a range of subjects.

In this third and final block, Fuller starts with her gratitude toward outgoing Council members Christine Minney (Dist. 1) and Cindy Wolf (Dist. 2).

At 30 seconds into the interview, she said she learned a lot from both of them. She said the three Council members were often in alignment, and that they survived some challenging times in the past two years.

(2:25) SanJuans.Today observed Cindy Wolf has said she intends to monitor the County’s sea level rise mitigation efforts. Fuller strongly agreed sea level rise challenges will remain a top priority for County government.

(4:15) When is the first meeting of the new Council — with the arrival of Kari McVeigh (Dist. 1) and Justin Paulsen (Dist. 2)?

(5:30) Are you looking forward to the new team?

(6:50) Do you have any new priorities for the next two years?

(9:55) Fuller has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Washington State Association of Counties (WSAC).
