An update from Washington State Ferries at 3:02 p.m. today:
The #4, inter-island vessel, will be out of service this evening due to lack of crew, beginning with the 5:30 p.m. Friday Harbor sailing.
The final inter-island sailings will be:
Eastbound:
- 3:05 p.m. Orcas to Shaw
- 3:20 p.m. Shaw to Lopez
Westbound:
- 3:45 p.m. Lopez to Shaw
- 4:05 p.m. Shaw to Orcas
- 4:25 p.m. Orcas to Friday Harbor
For transfers from Orcas or Shaw to Friday Harbor: travelers will have to transfer via Anacortes. Last opportunity of the day will be to catch the 5:15 p.m. from Orcas or 5:30 p.m. from Shaw to Anacortes, then transfer to the 8:20 p.m. Anacortes to Friday Harbor sailing arriving at 9:25 p.m. tonight in Friday Harbor.
For transfers from Lopez to Shaw or Orcas: travelers will need to catch the 6:20 p.m. Lopez to Anacortes sailing to transfer to the 7:25 p.m. sailing from Anacortes to Shaw/Orcas.
For transfers from Lopex to Friday Harbor: Travelers will need to catch the 6:20 p.m. sailing to Anacortes to be transferred to the 8:20 p.m. sailing from Anacortes to Friday Harbor.
For transfers from Friday Harbor to other islands: the options are to catch the 6:30 p.m. sailing from Friday Harbor to Anacortes and transfer to the 9:50 p.m. Anacortes departure to Lopez, Shaw, and Orcas. Or the last option of the night will be 10:00 p.m. departure from Friday Harbor, which will stop at each island on the way back to Anacortes.
The 8:20 p.m. sailing from Anacortes to Friday Harbor and the 9:50 p.m. sailing from Anacortes to Lopez, Shaw and Orcas will be the last westbound sailings out of Anacortes for the night.
