Now Taking Applications: Broadcast Video Editor Internship
CNL2 has one position available for Broadcast Video Editor Intern in our studio. This is a three-month internship. It does not pay a wage, but the training and experience could prove to be extremely helpful to any student looking to break into the video productions, documentaries, or television news.
For the successful intern, in three months you will edit many productions, which will result in new technical and creative skills, as well as a reel that could help you get into college, land a job, or simply help you decide if this is a career for you.
The Broadcast Video Editor Intern will be taught and supervised by the President and General Manager of CNL2, who is an experienced editor as well as an Adobe Certified Professional in After Effects Video Animation. And you will work under a highly experienced career television producer who has produced television content for more than 40 years. A third expert who directed television programs for major Seattle TV stations will be yet another mentor.
You will work on a powerful computer in our studio.
You will also learn how to log recordings, queue up AI-created transcripts, perform “paper edits,” and perform some post-editing functions such as media encoding, upload videos to our content delivery networks (CDNs), and asset management.
The most successful intern will have strong computer skills and be very detail-oriented. You will be editing real news reports and on-air promotions, so this is a position of responsibility.
