Yesterday’s 90-minute meeting at the Marie Boe Building on the County Fairgrounds was a clash of values: the 82 percent of islanders who would like to have a new long walking and bicycle trail on the island vs. the owners of picturesque working farms whose lands would be modified to some degree by a proposed trail.
