San Juan Island National Historical Park American Camp Visitor Center Opens March 6

FOLLOWING IS A STATEMENT BY THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE

San Juan Island National Historical Park is opening the American Camp Visitor Center for the 2025 season beginning on March 6. The operating hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Thursday through Monday. The facility is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The park invites the public to come to the Visitor Center to explore the exhibits that cover Coast Salish content, information on the Pig War, flora and fauna, and more. Free hiking maps and other interpretive materials are available to the visiting public.
The park’s interpretive staff is available to serve the public, answer questions, provide materials, and information on various topics.
